| Exclusive Moon Beam Interview |
KATIE TIAE ~ Good afternoon! Or Priviett!! (hello in russian) how have you been? What have you done so far today?
MOONBEAM: Hello! Today there was a first day of autumn. Weather rainy and foggy. Therefore we have spent all the day to studio, working over a new track.
KATIE TIAE ~ In 2005 you both opened your label Moonbeam Digital, how are you finding the growth since its birth four years ago?
MOONBEAM: Yes has really passed four years as we have opened Moonbeam Digital. We worked over development of our label much and we hope that have chosen a correct way of development. At the same time, we feel that else it is necessary to make much.
KATIE TIAE ~ Any signed artists on your label to watch out for? Who has been the most popular artist founded by the label?
MOONBEAM: We work with many artists from the different countries (Austraila, Japan, Spain and of course Russia). Mainly we release music of beginning of artits. Our main and popular artists Blackfeel Wite and J-Soul which live in our native city.
KATIE TIAE ~ What is your opinion on the growing rate of illegal downloads? Have you ever been naughty and downloaded something which you shouldnt have!! :P?
MOONBEAM: We think that it is illegal loadings negatively influence development of musical electronic business. Unfortunately, in Russia there is an Internet resources which are intended for illegal downloading. Often there it is possible to download our new tracks to their official exit on our label. We tried to struggle with it, but it does not give results.
KATIE TIAE ~ I had a browse at your website, when will that be finished from under construction for your eager fans?
MOONBEAM : Work on our new site, really, was tightened, but we plan to start it in September.
KATIE TIAE ~ It must be really hard to have a normal schedule when your playing at clubs all night. How do you guys look after yourselves? Are you gym junkies?
MOONBEAM: Yes, at times happens very tiresomely to play all night long in club. We do not take alcohol and drugs, at leisure we prefer to spend to sports to a hall. Sports - the best rest.
KATIE TIAE ~ Who parties harder Pavel or Vitaliy? Who gets more ladies?
MOONBEAM : We do not conduct statistics O. I think that about it it is better to ask our ladies.
KATIE TIAE ~ As most people are aware you guys are brothers, is there anyone else in the family with the music gene?
MOONBEAM : The daddy and mum to music of the relation had no. But since the early childhood we always love music.
KATIE TIAE ~ You guys have a very popular radio show 'MoonBeam Music' How is the radio show cruising along? How do you promote it to broadcast on so many stations?
MOONBEAM : We simply try to do qualitative show with good music. And all the rest is a choice of the radio stations, which do to us the offer on placing of our show at them.
KATIE TIAE ~ What will be be hearing from you guys, on the airwaves, in the coming months?
MOONBEAM : We plan to place guest mixes of beginning Russian musicians which participate in competition of remixes on our track Storm of Clouds.

Quivver - Rumble-Trunks (original) [Critical Rhythm]
For the past 15 years, John Graham has been at the forefront of the dance music scene. Perhaps you’ll know him better through his numerous alter ego’s including Quivver, Space Manoeuvres, Stoneproof, Skanna, and Tilt, as each of these projects produced numerous hit singles and had a heavy hand in shaping global dance music. While it’s true that Graham – in his many forms – has long been associated with the progressive house genre, Dirty Nails And Vapour Trails travels down many different paths. “I've always listened to and have been influenced by a lot of different stuff and I think it's sad that the scene is so divided these days. It's like there's a new genre every other week and people jump on that bandwagon until the next one comes along and forget where they came from. I also wanted the album to be something people could really listen to and that would still be relevant in a few years so I didn't want to do a bunch of 4 to the floor bangin' club tracks - that's what mix comps are for.”

Luke Porter - Metropolis (Thomas Langner remix)
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Luke Porter is an international DJ & producer now based in London. Luke's diverse and eclectic taste in music is evident in both his live and recorded DJ sets. Equally at home laying down house beats at a small bar or hammering out progressive at superclubs like Ambasada Gavioli, it is Luke's ability to adapt to his audience that has been the key to crafting his engaging and unrelenting live sets. His monthly DI.fm show, Dependency, and guest slots on major internet radio stations such as Proton and Frisky Radio also allows him to share his music with thousands of people worldwide. In late 2007 Luke relocated to London, where he has since firmly established himself on the international DJing circuit. His tracks can be regularly found in the playlists of DJs from all corners of the globe. Armed with an array of new dancefloor bombs set for release in the very near future, 2009 is shaping up to be another massive year.

King Roc - Beautiful But Weird (King Roc remix) [Process Recordings]
Here's the story: King Roc wrote dance music, once. He's half of the wildly successful techno / deep house duo Two Armadillos with Giles Smith of UK club pioneers Secretsundaze. He DJs Brazil, China, Australia, a couple of times each year each as well as regularly playing the big European and UK clubs. He lives in Brazil and Berlin but really he's a nicely-mannered gent from southwest London. But he doesn't like to talk much, and two years back he was fed up to the back teeth of 4/4 for the dancefloor. So when he met Australian artist Seb Godfrey of Drunkpark, they hatched a plan together. A concept album that won't explain itself. (But it started with some ideas about dreams, intuition, happenstance and coincidence.) No talking. Big secret theories. A concept album. And then: for the final CD, each track had to be ripped apart and thrown back together for its reappearance on the CD - with trip-hop transformed into a beautiful vocal number, or techno into lush, beatless cinematics ...

Ida Engberg & David West - Gura (original mix) [West Recordings]
Although David West might be a new name to many of you he has been around for a very long time. He began his musical journey at the age of 2 when his father, who is a musician himself, put him behind the black and white keys of the piano. David was taught by his father until the age of 6, then it was time for some serious classical training. By the age of 7 David had his first meeting with a synthesizer, and he immediately fell in love with the weird sounds that came out of it. Two years later he got a porta-studio (a 4-channel tape recorder) and started producing his own music, and from there he went to working with computers such as C-64, AMIGA and ATARI. His professional career started back in 1994 when he teamed up with Robin Söderman and formed Antiloop. The band is a household name in the Scandinavian club circuits and following the success of their debut album, "LP", the name spread fast across the global underground network with cuts such as "In My Mind", “Beauty and the Beast” and "Trespasser" fast becoming techno classics and crossing over in numerous European territories. Most of the Antiloop singles have positioned themselves at the #1 spot in the Scandinavian dance charts. Two Grammy awards (Best Club/Dance Album 1998 – LP) (Best Club/Dance Album 2001 – Fastlane People), six Swedish Dance Music awards, numerous gold and platinum records is proof of that.
