Royksopp - This Must Be End (Moguai remix) [Wall Of Sound]
There was a time when A-Ha carried the mantle of globally-successful Norwegian bands, but the arrival of Royksopp's Torbjorn Brundtland and Svein Berge inspired a whole new generation of melodic electronica, making Norway, and Scandinavia in general, the go-to place for hopeful A&R scouts looking for a new sound. And what a sound: gorgeous pop melodies layered over long-forgotten bits of old electronic equipment (no doubt chipped free from the very ice floes that influenced Royksopp's intimate yet sparse soundscapes). – Rolling Stone Magazine

The Crystal Method ft. Emily Haines - Come Back Clean (Kaskade remix) [Tiny E Records]
Though he was born in Chicago, this DJ found his spiritual and musical home in San Francisco by way of Salt Lake City and New York. He is currently one of the most influential people in the San Francisco house scene, as well as one of the hardest-working: By night he's Kaskade the house music producer/DJ; by day he's Ryan Raddon, A&R director for OM Records. In the early days, Kaskade familiarized himself with the rapidly changing electronic music scene wherever he went, eventually finding that house music was the subgenre he loved best. He started out as a DJ in New York and Salt Lake City clubs. During the tail end of his stay in Salt Lake City, his first attempts to produce tracks were released on his own tiny label Mechanized Records. He also sold a few tracks to Chris Smith, A&R director for an up-and-coming house label in San Francisco. From behind the A&R desk, he's helped to release Ming & FS's Subway Series as well as the latest volume of the acclaimed Mushroom Jazz series. ~ L. Katz, All Music Guide

Tiff Lacey is a singer/songwriter from Kent (United Kingdom). Tiff Lacey began her career fronting indie/folk/rock bands gigging and recording solidly throughout the 90s. However, the winds of change blew her onto a new course in 2001 when she was asked to demo a track. This track became the number one club anthem “Hypnotised”, landing her a place on the critically acclaimed Bunka album, Tiff Lacey, the trance artist burst onto the club scene in 2002. Since then, she has worked with the heavyweights of this genre: ATB, The Flash Brothers, Headstrong, Conjure One, Matt Darey to name but a few and in 2008 her track with Tenishia “Burning from the inside” was voted Bay Awards Best Dance Track. Tiff Lacey’s voice is unmistakable. Once you’ve heard it, you can’t forget the fusion of spine tingling timbre mingled with her finely crafted songwriting. John O'Callaghan ft. Audrey Gallagher - Take It All Away (original mix)
It’s taken John O’Callaghan just 5 short years to outrun his ‘next big thing’ tag and move over to the A-list fast-track. A masterful spinner, his unique blend of trance, coupled with an exacting, pin-point precise mixing style has seen him power up the DJ rankings. In the summer of 2008 the gifted 27 year old spun his first Radio 1 Essential Mix and, in the course of the year, was one of only 4 trance DJs to do so. In the 2007 Top 100 chart, John was marked out as the man to watch by no less than 5 DJs. 12 months later he duly delivered on their predictions, entering at No.60 on the 2008 countdown. Last year he picked up the ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best DJ’ trophies at the Irish Dance Music Awards; decisively conquered the notoriously-competitive dance-testing ground of Ibiza and became the first Irishman to play Trance Energy. In 2009 he stands at the threshold of dance superstardom.
