Moby - One Time We Lived (Lulu Rouge remix) [Little Idiot]
Lulu Rouge is DJ T.O.M. and Buda, two of the most respected DJs and producers on the Copenhagen scene. Both of these two travelers have been around crashing club land for a decade and a half. With their music and productions these two chess playing gentlemen are represented on more than 100 of the biggest compilations worldwide. For instance series like Global Underground, Costes, BBC Blue Sessions, Luftkastellet, Mambo and Buddha Bar. Today the 2 DJ heads, producers and long time friends have decided to join forces and put all the chips on one number; Lulu Rouge. Thus creating one of the most interesting and refreshing sounds coming out of Scandinavia.

Pole Folder - Hate Myself (Sasha remix) [La Tour]
In a time where some artists focus on jumping on the new sound or trying to conform to an image, Pole Folder reminds us that in the end its all about the music, and his productions have remained at the forefront of the musically rich.” (Resident Advisor) Pole Folder, aka Benoit Franquet, has emerged as an intrinsic part of the emotive dance music juggernaut that has been steadily powering through club land over the course of the last few years… Alongside DJs such as Guy Gerber, James Holden and Guy J, he has been at the helm of a movement back towards the melody rich sounds on which House music is based.

Damian Lazarus - Spinnin' (Sasha remix) [Get Physical Music]
Time to blow away the mediocrity. Time to bury the has-beens that have gripped the dance world. Damian Lazarus is leading the change. He is one of a small number of DJs delivering a fresh sonic surge of forward thinking music and new dancefloor perspectives. Best described as dirty and deep, this is electro house and much more besides. This is a Rebel sound designed for lovers of late night madness, future dance floor classics and cutting edge new ideas. Its time has come. Lee Burridge is the antithesis of the superstar dj: He is rated as one of the top djs of this time but he doesn’t play the part. For him, dj’ing is a trade and a passion, not an ego trip. Lee is "a DJs DJ

Sharam Jey ft. Cornelia - Army Of Men (Analog People In A Digital World remix) [King Kong]
The music has always accompanied her wherever she went; a quirky girl with a quirky life needs a soundtrack after all, and CORNELIA is no exception to this rule.  Her early years were a hummingbird's journey through the flower garden of music; jazz, all form of electronica, show-tunes, pop, rock and even opera: the nectar that fed her youthful explorations. She settled down long enough to start up the band Popshop where she spent the next five years developing her vocal and artistic talents. Cornelia has taken the next step in her journey, continuously blending her own style and energy with whatever life throws at her.

Ex-plosion ft. Tiff Lacey - Intimacy (Westhill & Alenza Vocal remix) [KULT]
Tiff Lacey is a singer/songwriter from Kent (United Kingdom). Tiff Lacey began her career fronting indie/folk/rock bands gigging and recording solidly throughout the 90s. However, the winds of change blew her onto a new course in 2001 when she was asked to demo a track. This track became the number one club anthem “Hypnotised”, landing her a place on the critically acclaimed Bunka album, Tiff Lacey, the trance artist burst onto the club scene in 2002. Since then, she has worked with the heavyweights of this genre: ATB, The Flash Brothers, Headstrong, Conjure One, Matt Darey to name but a few and in 2008 her track with Tenishia “Burning from the inside” was voted Bay Awards Best Dance Track. Tiff Lacey’s voice is unmistakable. Once you’ve heard it, you can’t forget the fusion of spine tingling timbre mingled with her finely crafted songwriting. And with a catalogue of over 200 songs, there has to be at least one Tiff Lacey tune in your record collection.

Popof - Brain On The Side (original mix) [Form]
Popof, aka Alexandre Paounov, is a French producer and DJ based in Paris. His ‘Alcoolic’ release on Cr2 Records became an international hit in 2007. Who would have thought that Popof had a softer side? The French underground techno hero gets cute and melodic on his latest cut ‘Brain On The Side’, which is one of the hottest cuts on Beatport this week.

Josh Gabriel & Winter Kills - Deep Down (Francis Preve remix) [Different Pieces]
He wrote 'The Remixer's Bible', produced film music, works as a technology editor for Beatport and is considered to be a guru when it comes to the magical world of producing and everything involved with that. The world of sound is not safe with this guy around. Francis Preve thought it was right about time to step out of the background and get in touch with the crowd. He landed himself as a forefront DJ/Producer, with all the right knowledge in stores to blow them away. His Different Pieces release 'Hasown' is about to hit the portals, clubs and lead the way to much more. Getting upfront might have been the best decision Francis has ever made. Francis: "It has completely changed the way I approach music. I have a much clearer vision of the music I want to create." – Armada

Little Boots - Earthquake (Sasha remix) [679]
Victoria Hesketh (born 1984), known professionally as Little Boots, is a British electronica musician. She sings, plays synthesizers, the Yamaha tenori-on and the stylophone. She was the former lead singer/synth player in Dead Disco. At the age of 18, Hesketh participated in television talent show Pop Idol, being eliminated after three rounds. She went on to form a Jazz trio, toured Europe with a big band, and later formed the dance-pop band Dead Disco, gradually shifting away from the band and their style, she bagan to write songs of her own and left Dead Disco in August 2007. Her solo stage name comes from a nickname given to her by a friend after watching Caligula (the Latin name Caligula translates as “little boots”). Taken from her top 5 debut album Hands (which has recently gone gold), Little Boots' forthcoming single 'Earthquake' is pure trance-pop and is a heartbreaking song of vulnerability, perfectly demonstrated in the chorus: “Every time you hurt me, I know that it’s working – making you mine. Every clap of thunder only makes me stronger on the inside.”

Way Out West - Bodymotion [Hope Recordings]
True artists don't follow trends, they reinterpret them to fit their vision - staying true to who they are yet staying current with the modern groove. With club anthems like "Mindcircus," "Ajare," and "The Gift," Way Out West, the duo of Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff have definitely had their effect on the cannon of progressive house music. While many producers/artists are making what sound like 80s records with a minor update, WOW chooses to incorporate 80s sounding keyboards while retaining their sound. While we love Omi and hope that she has a few tracks on their forthcoming CD We Love Machine, we also appreciate quality male vocalists on club tracks such as the Apollo approved Jonathan Mendelsohn who sings "Only Love." - DJ Ron Slomowicz
