Glenn Morrison pres. Musetta - Nicotine (Glenn Morrison remix) [Morrison]
Starting off this set we have a guy that is one of my favorite producers. Glenn Morrison. (In my opinion the real genius behind his previous duo with deadmau5.) From grainy screeching acid lines to lush ethereal progressive, this jack of all trades does it all and well. Notice the harmonizing of the vocals and the flute. “Nicotine” is like Jethro Tull in the electronic dance era.

Jimmy Van M - My Eyes (2 am JVM & Marc Mitchell mix) [Audio Logic]
Jimmy van M starts off the set with “My Eyes”; the 2AM JVM & Marc Mitchell mix. Sexy, mysterious, and deep, this record features the haunting vocals of New York artist Steve T. and additional production by scene legend Marc Mitchell. A little background on Jimmy: as a DJ; he is one of the worlds finest in terms of remarkable mixing skills and superb at building a set. This release is actually released in three parts. My eyes: part 1, 2, & 3. Go ahead and check out all the parts, they each have a little something new to bring to the table.

Little Boots - Earthquake (Sasha remix) [679]
Victoria Hesketh (born 1984), known professionally as Little Boots, is a British electronica musician. She sings, plays synthesizers, the Yamaha tenori-on and the stylophone. She was the former lead singer/synth player in Dead Disco. At the age of 18, Hesketh participated in television talent show Pop Idol, being eliminated after three rounds. She went on to form a Jazz trio, toured Europe with a big band, and later formed the dance-pop band Dead Disco, gradually shifting away from the band and their style, she bagan to write songs of her own and left Dead Disco in August 2007. Her solo stage name comes from a nickname given to her by a friend after watching Caligula (the Latin name Caligula translates as “little boots”). Taken from her top 5 debut album Hands (which has recently gone gold), Little Boots' forthcoming single 'Earthquake' is pure trance-pop and is a heartbreaking song of vulnerability, perfectly demonstrated in the chorus: “Every time you hurt me, I know that it’s working – making you mine. Every clap of thunder only makes me stronger on the inside.”

Moby - One Time We Lived (Lulu Rouge remix) [Little Idiot]
Lulu Rouge is DJ T.O.M. and Buda, two of the most respected DJs and producers on the Copenhagen scene. Both of these two travelers have been around crashing club land for a decade and a half. With their music and productions these two chess playing gentlemen are represented on more than 100 of the biggest compilations worldwide. For instance series like Global Underground, Costes, BBC Blue Sessions, Luftkastellet, Mambo and Buddha Bar. Today the 2 DJ heads, producers and long time friends have decided to join forces and put all the chips on one number; Lulu Rouge. Thus creating one of the most interesting and refreshing sounds coming out of Scandinavia.

Doves - Jetstream (The Time And Space Machine remix) [Virgin]
The Time & Space Machine is part of the UK school of psychedelic revivalism contrasting the psych noise work that I’ve talked about yesterday. The man behind the time machine, Richard Norris, is famed for being one half of Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve(BTWS), his past group The Grid with Soft Cell’s David Ball and his past collaborations with Genesis P. Orridge in Psychic TV. His debut LP weaves a trippy sonic nest of psychedelic beats, groove and fuzz guitar crossbreeding the best parts of breakbeat and jam rock.

U2 - I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Dirty South remix) [Mercury]
The filthy curb-crawling new wave disco of Dirty South is a result of debauched years behind the decks and a lot of time spent at home creating his own musical fun. His Sleazy debut is the perfect introduction to the Dirty South school of naughty thought – a passionate electronik glam revenge on sadistic ghosts of past affairs. Dirty South caught the technically transmitted disease of DJing long before he even owned his first set of turntables. With the DJ bug in his blood, a young lad could be found teaching himself mixing skills on his NEC tape deck, utilising nothing more than its twin cassette players, a pause button and nimble fingers to recreate the sounds of club DJing in the safety of his own bedroom. At the start of 2008, Dirty South was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical category for his reworking of Kaskade's Sorry. He was beaten out on the night (by Benny Benassi) but he remains one of very few Australians to have ever been nominated for a Grammy.

Timo Garcia ft. Amber Jolene - Wonderlust (Free Your Mind) (James Harcourt remix) [Berwick Street]
Under the alias Timo Garcia, he joins the dots of our planet’s clubbing hotspots. Rocking crowds across Brazil, at London’s Ministry of Sound, around Russia, at all of Ibiza’s sharpest clubs and more: he is a global DJ. Whether spinning his own razor edged house productions, or mixing the tech and electro of others, he weaves sets stuffed with sonics from all over. But seeing and hearing the world in this way has uniquely improved the arsenal of sounds at his disposal as a DJ, and poignantly inform his productions. Be they glitched-out, guitar led or Hang Drum peppered, a Timo Garcia track is always on point.

Sidekick - Deep Fear (Phobia club mix) [Chic Flowerz Digitalic]
A beautiful minmal symphony that will have spines tingleing in the club immediately. Not much is known about Sidekick or Phobia other than they are signed on the label Chic Flowerz Digitalic, An Electronic based label in Paris. The entire label seems to be deeply influenced and in tune with the Ibiza sound and Lifestyle.

Made By Monkeys ft. Darcy Conroy - I Think Of You (Rui Da Silva remix) [KULT]
Made by Monkeys are back after their Billboard chart topping single “I Try” with an even hotter new song called “I Think Of You” released on NYC’s super hot KULT Records label. This song is guaranteed to stay at the top of your IPOD’s playlist. This yet to be released single is causing quite a stir on both sides of the Atlantic. Monkey Business says: Shortly after the release of “I Try”, we saw a plastic bag from Economy Candy blowing in the wind. We followed that bag across 20 countries and 4 continents. Along the way, we wrote some songs and one of those is “I Think of You”.

Pentatonik - Movements 2 (Matteo Marini remix) [Flat Belly Recordings]
R. Simeon Bowring has returned with his third Pentatonik album 'A Thousand Paper Cranes'. His most ambitious album yet both artistically and technically, he has combined, on a huge scale, the sound of sythesizers, piano and orchestra to great emotional effect.

Schodt - Tokyo Dawn (Dinka remix) [Cool Vibes]
Progressive.melodic.house. Mix those three keywords together, add a touch of emotion, and you'll have a pretty good taste of the style of Danish musician "Schodt" a.k.a Henrik Schodt. This flavorful blend is manifested through Henrik's ambition to share the music that he pushes to the edge of the genre, delivering original and classic tracks to the progressive scene.

V-Sag - Feather (DJ Tarkan remix) [The Sound Of Everything]
This collaboration between Turkey's most respected dj and also a great producer, and one of the best music talents in Greece, could not result to something else but a label regarding their deep progressive and tribal house style. The label also aims to support the no-smoking campaign. It aims to spread the message that music is your energy! No need for smoking and drugs. DJ Tarkan, who is one of the most significant names on the world electronic dance music scene has released his second album called Chapter Two. As a Producer, DJ, remixer, songwriter, and musician, Ned Shepard has much to offer to the world of electronic music. Playing piano from the early age of 5, Ned has become known for his songwriting touch, crafting songs that stay with you well past the first listen. In the fall of 2000, he met Marcus Bacalis and the two formed Digital Witchcraft. Reflekt ft. Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha remix) [Positiva]
Adam K & Soha provide their euphoric interpretation of “Need to feel Loved” by Reflekt. I have loved this track since I first heard it in the background of the 2004 techno inspired movie “It’s All Gone Pete Tong!”. The original’s deep grooves are now replaced with an ambient backdrop to Delline’s Bass angelic vocals. It’s hard to update a song when it’s original shines so bright, but Adam K & Soha do a great job right here.

Faithless ft. Cass Fox - Music Matters (Mark Knight remix) [Toolroom]
The embodiment of the modern DJ, Mark Knight’s legacy already ranks him as a leading player in dance music culture’s evolution into the digital and globalised age. His high octane sets, which treble and bass their way right across the dance music spectrum, have caused dance floor carnage in every corner of the world, whilst his original productions and slick remixes make his studio skills the most in-demand and sought after in the business.

Chicane ft. Bryan Adams - Don't Give It Up (Viktor Mora & Naccarati remix)
In spite of being so young – Dee Jay Mora has already a lot of experience. He began his career even younger, at the age of 16, playing at some “private special parties” for his friends. That’s how he learned how to mix. Right then and there an endless passion had its first steps. His sets are recognized by the perfect mixings and songs that had just been released, a proof of his nonstop updating. Mora’s style got to the attention of the public and in 98 he was invited to perform at one of the best clubs in Brazil: the Anzu, in the city of Itu (state of São Paulo). His talent made everybody dance ‘til morning right on his first presentation there – and for that he got the residence of Anzu for 9 years. Every week, over 3,000 people enjoy their night to the sounds of Dee Jay Mora. The Dee Jay, who’s always catching up with the brand new tendencies, frequently visits London, Miami (Winter Music Conference 2003, 2004, 2005). His intimacy with the pick-ups and his ability of arousing people with wonderful sets are a guarantee of a great event.

Tyrrell - Lalalalalala (original mix) [Twisted Frequency]
Matt slips in “LaLaLaLaLaLa” next from DJ and producerTyrrell. I’m addicted! The more this track is on rotation for me, the better it sounds. This marks Tyrell’s second appearance on today’s show. The orizginal should go down well in the clubs, both main room and chill out. This remix by James Harcourt finally provides you with the powerful climax you’ve been searching for without missing the melody of the original song. Some great edits along the entire track.
