Massive Attack - Paradise Circus (Gui Boratto remix) [Virgin]
The pioneering force behind the rise of trip-hop, Massive Attack were among the most innovative and influential groups of their generation; their hypnotic sound — a darkly sensual and cinematic fusion of hip-hop rhythms, soulful melodies, dub grooves, and choice samples — set the pace for much of the dance music to emerge throughout the 1990s, paving the way for such acclaimed artists as Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Morcheeba, UNKLE and Tricky, himself a Massive Attack alumnus. Their history dates back to 1983 and the formation of the Wild Bunch, one of the earliest and most successful sound-system/DJ collectives to arrive on the UK music scene; renowned for their seamless integration of a wide range of musical styles, from punk to reggae to R&B, the group’s parties quickly became can’t-miss events for the Bristol club crowd, and at the peak of their popularity they drew crowds so enormous that the local live music scene essentially ground to a halt.

Hot Chip - I Feel Better (Den Haan remix) [Parlophone]
DEN HAAN IS THE END PRODUCT OF A COLLABORATION BETWEEN PRODUCER / SONGWRITER MATTHEW ALDWORTH AND DJ / SONGWRITER ANDREW GARDINER. THE BAND FORMED IN SUMMER 2006 AFTER DISCOVERING A MUTUAL LOVE OF DISCO AND SOFT METAL. AFTER GETTING TOGETHER AS A ONE OFF, THEY SOON REALIZED THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES OF THEIR SONGWRITING PARTNERSHIP AND SINCE THEN HAVE DEVELOPED THEIR OWN UNIQUE STYLE AS WELL AS A CONFIDENT APPROACH TO MODERN AUDIO PRODUCTION.

Royksopp - Tricky Tricky (Goja pres. Vendurain's V-Dur remix - Extended edit)
Norwegian duo Röyksopp compensated for the cold climes of their native Tromsø by making some of the warmest, most inviting downbeat electronica of the new millennium, exemplified by early singles like Eple and Poor Leno. The pair, Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, both grew up in Tromsø and began recording in the early '90s. Local-made-good Geir Jenssen (aka Biosphere) provided tutelage and almost convinced the duo to record for R&S sublabel Apollo. After a few years apart, Brundtland and Berge met up again in Bergen and re-formed Röyksopp in 1998.The group released a few singles on Tellé, then signed up to the big beat label Wall of Sound. The Röyksopp debut was 2001's Eple single; both "Eple" and another track ("Poor Leno") earned slots on over a dozen chillout compilations that year or the next. Their first full-length, Melody A.M., appeared in late 2001. After spending a few years performing live and remixing artists including Beck and Annie, Röyksopp returned with new material in 2005; the single Only This Moment heralded the summer release of the duo's second album, The Understanding, which featured more traditionally structured songs than their earlier work. The live EP Röyksopp's Night Out appeared a year later, and the third album -- Junior, their most upbeat set -- came in March 2009. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide

Monarchy - The Phoenix Alive (Kris Menace remix) [This Is Music]
Monarchy is a duo based out of the UK, and are taking the Daft Punk approach to secret identities. Not much is know about them other than they produces stellar electronic pop. Black the Colour of My Heart is my favorite track of theirs thus far with it’s soulful vocal delivery and it’s minimal drum backing. Reminds me of a mix between Sam Sparro (Black and Gold) and Maroon 5.

Moby - Mistake (Lifelike remix) [Little Idiot]
LIFELIKE is one of the most talented producer in France’s celebrated dance-music scene. His CV boasts a wealth of hit productions, collaborations and remixes that have cemented his place in dance-music history. It was not long before a multitude of big-name artists came knocking on Laurent’s door hoping to secure his unique touch on their own material. Remixes for the likes of Moby, Empire Of The Sun, Chromeo and La Roux , just to name a few of them, are testament to LIFELIKE’s esteem and reputation within the music industry. Then not touring the world as a DJ, Laurent benefits from the opportunity to experiment musically and move in new directions with his music on Vulture – as evidenced by the Future Disco hit ‘Sequencer' & 'Sunset', topping for another couple of weeks the independants charts this year.

Nicky Romero - My Friend (Manuel De La Mare deeper mix) [Tiger Records]
Nicky Romero, born on 6 January 1989 grew up in a small city called "Amerongen", lived in Canada (Kingston) for a few years. Nicky hits the first snare drum at the age of 6 and started playing drums in a fanfare. After playing a year or three, he'd been asked to play in a huge group who had acts on street and big events. That was fun though, but not enough for small Nicky. At the age of 12 he got is first set of Drums, and started practising, practising and practising. Well, after 3 years playing drums everyday and night , it was enough and he changed the drums for turntables. These day's allmost every high rated DJ has a few Romero records in his bag, which remixes for Ian Carey, Dirty South, David Vendetta, Sidney Samson this DJ has left his mark in the house scene. He just finished his new track "Nicky Romero - My Friend" which reaches 4 at Beatport Overal Chart and 1 at Beatport Progressive Chart. Supported by Tiesto, Axwell, SHM, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Fedde le Grand & more! This track definitely conqueres WMC 2010. To be continued…

Corey Gibbons - Otididae [Kawa Music]
Corey Gibbons is an International producer and DJ with his own label 'Kawa Music'. Born in Jamaica and nicknamed ‘Music Man’ as a child, it was clear that Corey would head straight for a life in the music industry. At a young age, Corey and his family moved to New York and his youth was spent learning to spin Reggae and Hip-Hop in Brooklyn. Corey’s current release At My Best is a collaboration with his childhood heroine Robin S, which has already achieved success in charts, clubs and commercially. The single has now been licensed worldwide and is set to be a future classic.
Nicola Fasano & Frank O'Moiraghi - Feel My Body (Chris Ortega mix) [Sound of Pirates]
The German DJ and Producer Chriss Ortega based in Recklinghausen plays three instruments, is always in search for the ingenious hook, the perfect beat, new influences and new ideas. He could establish himself as an announced producer by successful remixes for R.I.O., Cascada, Arias, Laurent Wolf, Stonebridge, Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera and many more. His style is marked by an awesome mixture of House, Electro and Trance. That is the reason why many Globalplayers are regularly playing his productions. So the name Ortega stands for worldwide success.

Jenry R & X-trude ft. Jenry R - Lift Me High (House X-Treme remix) [Bonzai Club Music]
Jenry R. got his start with producer Andrew Bennett and the track ‘Light of Hope’, a successful progressive trance release- with many more to follow. Besides the collaboration with Andrew Bennett, Jenry keeps busy writing his own songs as a vocalist and songwriter. His influences started back in the 1980’s with the synth pop influence of artists such as Depeche Mode, the Cure and New Order. At a very young age Jenry had a passion to sing and write soulful lyrics. With several releases to his name, Jenry is continuing to advance in the electronic scene straight from the USA to Europe. This is an artist to watch out for!
