| Eddie Thoneick Artist Profile |

| Real Names: | Eddie Thoneick |
| Profile: | Eddie Thoneick is a name that is synonymous for uplifting, high octane house music in all varieties. With a musical background that includes playing various instruments for over 20 years, Eddie’s focus the last 15 years has been electronic music. His tight sound programming, strong build up arrangements and flair for new house styles are just a few reasons why his tracks get massive support by the most reputated djs, labels and of course, clubgoers worldwide. The list of his remix work for big name artists grows longer and longer: Moby, Junior Jack, Fedde Le Grand, Sebastian Ingrosso & Steve Angello, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta or Roger Sanchez are just a few who want the special Eddie Thoneick treatment for their releases. This shows pretty clearly that Eddie Thoneick is in extreme demand and in the top league of the international dance scene. Finally, in 2006, the big breakthrough record was released: Eddie Thoneick vs Kurd Maverick "Love Sensation". The "Eddie Thoneick Sensation Mix" generated a huge wave of support. World reknown djs like Bob Sinclar, Angello & Ingrosso, Axwell, David Guetta, Joachim Garraud, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce were hammering the tune in their live sets and radio shows. "Love Sensation" was one of the "must have" hot tunes of 2006 and was released worldwide. It even hit top chart positions all over the globe! In 2007, Eddie joined forces with a hot new talent from Amsterdam; Berget Lewis covering the classic “Deeper Love” by C&C Music Factory. It was first released on Cr2 Records in the UK, with follow-ups on indie labels all over. Since August 2007, Eddie has been running his own prime time radio-show. Every Saturday night at 8 p.m., he can be heard on the world’s leading radio station for electronic music, Radio-FG / Paris, alongside other radio residents like Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Louie Vega, Bob Sinclar and David Guetta. 2008: Eddie’s next big step is the building up of his label "TONIK-rcrdngs", that will be featuring Eddie´s own tracks and those of his fellow producers, like Kurd Maverick, Dons vs Dbn, Francesco Diaz & Young Rebels. The first release is his single "Freak ´n you", which, since the beginning promos, has received unbelievable feedback from Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, Erick Morillo, Kurd Maverick just to name a few. There are many massive productions in the pipeline to come so… every house music freak should definitely keep an eye on this label! Besides all his production work, Eddie is constantly touring the world. Playing the big and hot venues all over Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, as well as the United States, it’s not an exaggeration to say that Eddie belongs to a small group of djs who are technically on the top level. To go along with his unique, pumping ET sound, mixing skills are also what he stands for and that’s how he makes the crowd’s go wild. Eddie’s live set up of 3 cd players and effect machines absolutely push his sound to the limit, literally creating “live-remixes” of the tracks in dj sets! Without a doubt ET’s exceptional talent has djs and clubgoers, those who are lucky enough to be standing close to him while he is playing, expressing that they “didn’t even know that all this is possible with that equipment!!!” To bring it to the point: Eddie Thoneick knows exactly how to rock the dancefloors all over the world! The interest in Eddie keeps on growing, whether it´s Djing or his unique Productions. |

David Solano & Apollo V ft. Morgan Haze - Another World (David Solano mix) [Juicy Music]
At a very young age David discovered and developed a deep passion and strikingly unique gift for music. At the age of 13 he was already able to operate complicated music creation software and write complex arrangements of music. Always a leader, Solano has and continues to lead his music projects to numerous successful performances. As the digital era struck, he developed a strong affection for House music and the rest is history. With all of his acquired musical talent, skill, and experience, David Solano is surely on his way to becoming a very recognized DJ with an amazing, prominent producing career. Incredibly known around his hometown and state capital of Tallahassee, this DJ always delivers and pleases, there is always a line out the door to see him. Beginning in North Florida and taking the rest of the state by storm, David Solano is most definitely one of the fastest growing Djs the sunshine state has ever known. Get used to this name because it’s not going anywhere.

The BeatThiefs ft. Peyton - Fly With Me (Nino Anthonys disKo LoKO dub)
The BeatThiefs (aka Henry Hacking & Tony Ryder) formed at the end of 2005 and have risen through the ranks of the DJ world with purpose and character, showing determination, passion and commitment can prevail. The guys are known for their 'one on one' trickery & chaos behind the CDJs. Combining 4 CD mixing, layering accapellas and scratching to create the most uplifting feel good club atmospheres that clubbers just can't get enough of. This statement is reflected in the constant repeat bookings the guys have received in over 18 countries as well as their residency with one of the UK's leading club nights 'Hat Club'.

Cunnie Williams & Monie Love - Saturday 2009 (Fedde Le Grand dub mix) [Scrambled Rec]
The Fedde le Grand bow may well seem over-laden with strings but he added yet another as F.L.G. Since the early days his more stripped-down production has won him an elite group of fans, allowing him to experiment with his darker, more minimal tech-house side. Tracks like Take No Shh, Aah Yeah and Just Trippin’ have already done the business and 2009 brought with it three more releases – F1, Amplified and Pink Bird – confirming his position as one of the most versatile producers of our times and a true master of both the underground and over ground sounds. Tours taking in every continent have been a major feature of Fedde’s career. North America, South, Australasia and the Far East, Europe – nations have capitulated under his mastery of beats and his sheer presence on the dance floor. Whether it’s as the uplifting Fedde le Grand playing in front of tens of thousands in A-list venues and stadium arenas, or stripped back and bare as F.L.G. in more intimate surroundings, the le Grand express shows absolutely no signs of slowing down – if anything the momentum is gaining. And an artist is exactly what Fedde le Grand is, in the truest sense of the world. The passion, integrity and sheer weight of individuality and originality that he brings to the table sees him take his place as one of the most influential electronic pioneers of modern times. Only one-question remains – if this is what Fedde le Grand has achieved so far, what more is there to come? We can only sit, wonder and wait with baited breath…

Groove Armada - Look Me In The Eye Sister (Audiojack remix) [Parlophone]
With a musical presence and maturity beyond their experience Audiojack are arguably one of the most talented and exciting electronic music acts to develop in recent years. Signed to Ralph Lawson’s 20:20 Vision Recordings for their original productions and with remixes and releases under their belt for labels such as Get Physical, Renaissance, Cr2, Leftroom and Great Stuff, Audiojack have proved a unique ability to produce credible underground music whilst appealing to a wide enough audience to surpass the sales and airplay of many of their peers.

Strobe - Wanna Hold You (Jerome Isma-Ae remix) [Electric]
Hailing from Munich, Jerome Isma-Ae is one of the highest-selling, most successful Prog House DJ/producers of the last 3 years. He is reinventing and designing the sounds since the early years of EDM. Building, combining, releasing and holding on to a continuously sharp sound, fit for both timelessness and the current demands of the dancefloor society. German producer/DJ Jerome Isma-Ae sure kept himself busy over the past 15 years. But results are showing. With the characteristic Isma-Ae sound on his side, requested and praised by many, he's got the best weapon there is: the ability to stand out. Mind you, it's a weapon he won't hesitate to use..
Dirty Super Car - Get A Grip (The Loops Of Fury remix) [Dance 2 Dance Music]
The Loops of Fury are a brand new signing to U&A in 2009. Two Brisbane boys, previously known as Hyperion, reborn under a new banner, with a mighty sound that perfectly encapsulates their own personal ELECTRO-TECHNO Manifesto. Imagine the Chemical’s Battle Weapons mashed up with the turbo-charged drive of Marco Bailey or Brodinski capped off with the production skills of a Dyson or a Gartner and you’d be in the right ballpark for the Loops’ take-no-prisoners sound.

Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill (The Japanese Popstars remix) [Parlophone]
The Japanese Popstars are riding a wave of great live gigs, major festival bookings, and media praise off the back of thier amazing energy driven live shows and their critically acclaimed debut album 'We Just Are'. However, let's get one thing straight about the music - The Japanese Popstars aren't indie rave, or any other sub-sub-sub genre, theirs is big room, cool as f**k electronic music built for festivals and stadiums. They're not dance kids aping indie kids, nor are they indie kids dropping synths and calling themselves 'ravers'. The Japanese Popstars - back to the future dance music for today, tomorrow, and forever, and it's coming to a field near you very soon.

Felguk - Whatever Clever (Dirtyloud remix) [Plasmapool]
Having just officially remixed Madonna's new single "Celebration", with tracks in the Beatport top charts, remixes for Ministry of Sound, and over 1.000.000 genuine page views on myspace, Gustavo Rozenthal and Felipe Lozinsky, who form the duo Felguk, is a force to be reckoned with. Their massive bass-led pumping electro-house, is a genre of its own. Un-phased by clubs or open air-festivals, whether playing live or Djing, they are quite simply a phenomenon in the making. For 2 years, Felguk has been headlining majors parties in Brazil, always getting a warm and excited response of the crowd. Having toured USA, Canada and Mexico, the duo is ready to take the next step on the scene. With a passion for rock, funk and pop and releases on Bug-Eyed Records and Plasmapool have placed Felguk firmly on the scene, being incorporated in the sets of notorious djs such as Spencer & Hill, Adam K, Klass, Miles Dyson, Tim Healey and Dj Dan.

Glenn Morrison - Triangle & Strings (Jerome Isma-Ae remix) [Morrison Recordings]
Glenn Morrison is a true global music citizen, who is as comfortable tweaking the controls in the studio, as pushing the emotional envelope with an audience of thousands. Because, or perhaps despite, being a teenage classical piano competition winner (CMC, Kiwanis Music Festival, & ORMTA if you’re asking), he manages to combine his skill as a DJ with the craft of writer and producer. His eclectic taste for all things considered ‘proper club house music’ has garnered him a variety of fans from varying core sound bases. From grainy screeching acid lines to lush ethereal progressive, this jack of all trades does it all and well. He is well known for his live mixes at such prestigious clubs as the Amnesia in Ibiza, Pacha in Buenos Aires, and the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, but he is equally at home putting together a set for the Dance Department or John Digweed’s Transitions radio show. The common denominator in all these cases being the ability to make a crowd dance and an eye for quality.
